Fall Smokey Eye

This a perfect smokey eye for Fall, and can even take you into the Winter.
I used many different products on my eye. The main one is Loreal HiP Studio Secrets Metallic Shadow duo in Shocked.
I used an eyeshadow brush to spread the gold over my entire lid. Making it a thick coat. Then took a light brown shade and brushed it into my entire crease. Next take the green part of the eyeshadow duo and brushed it in the outer part of my crease as well as the outer part of my lid. I also took the green shade and extended lightly into my entire crease. Next, I took a black kohl pencil and made a V in the outer corner of my eye. Touching my lash line and going out and then going right above the crease. Blending it in. You can even use a dab more of the green shadow to help blend the black color in. Next, took an eyeliner, use gel liner or one of the small eyeliners that are almost like a kohl pencil, and lined my entire eye. After lining my eye, I took a darker green color and a lip liner brush and brushed it on top of the lower liner. This adds more depth. Next, you highlight. So take a light almost white shade. You can use the same brush as previous, making sure the dark color is off, and put the color around your tear duct and your brow bone. Finish off with your mascara and you have an excellent smokey eye!
I contoured with Bronzer on my nose and highlighter on my cheekbones as well for a youthful, healthy effect that sets off the eye.

Sparkly earrings, luminous complexion, and red lipstick for Holidays

Sparkly earrings, a luminous complexion, and red lipstick are a must for the holidays.
I have these big sparkly earrings I always wear during this time of year. Another pic of them are on my previous blog. I really need to get another pair, but these and diamond studs are my favorite. Hair up or down you can't go wrong! Adds a great amount of sparkle for the holidays.
Another must for the holidays is a glowing, luminous complexion. I love Benefit's "Girl Meets Pearl". Don't be afraid to put a swipe across your forehead, down your nose, cheekbones, and a smidge on your chin. It really makes your face brighter and more youthful. Which the Winter can make your face look more full, which is why it's important to moisturize! A lot! Also, make sure you use the highlighter on your brow bones. If you are wearing red lipstick I always put more highlighter on my brow bones because it really accents red lips.
I have heard a lot about Benefit's "Watt's Up" highlighter, which you may want to try out, but I haven't yet. If you have tried it please leave your review.
and of course red lipstick is always a must for the holidays! Any variation of red, light or dark. Remember if you are doing dark to add highlighter so you will look more bright.
Highlight and sparkle!!

Old Navy Sweaters!

I love Old Navy sweaters this season. They are so warm and very affordable. Especially look out when Old Navy run sales! Perfect to pair with some dazzling jewelry and high boots. Perfect for winter time! Here are some of the sweaters I love:

Southwestern Print Cardigan from Old Navy. Saw this in an issue of Cosmopolitan and had to have it! Southwestern print is still in style, and this sweater is perfect for traveling or curling up with a book. This is the warmest of the sweaters.

Black and white Old Navy Cardigan. Very cute to pair with black boots. Also very cozy.

White one good for Christmas time! Wear with diamond studs and some red lipstick!

Blue one is a big cozy sweater. I wear this with big sparkly earrings, fur boots, and my hair up and messy. It's very comfy and stylish. Can kinda go off the shoulder. Had to go up a size though. Supposed to fit kinda baggy and runs small.

Sparkly Red Polish for December

Getting close to Christmas time! So time to break out the sparkly red polish!
This week I tried OPI's Animalistic. It's a very shiny lighter red color with a hint of sparkle. It is beautiful! and perfect for Christmas time! The application went on very easily. Maybe my favorite of the whole Muppets Collection.

I wanted to do Gettin Miss Piggy Wit It for my toes, also from OPI's Muppet Collection. I did a base color first, and I didn't get the amount of sparkle I wanted. Then I did it without a base color, and found the polish was very thin. It took many coats to achieve the desired effect. The Excuse Moi polish goes on way easier. I may try a sorbert shade from OPI's Texas Collection for the base. There are some reds in there, so hopefully that will work better!
I thought it would be so pretty to have red nails, and then whenever you finally get to see your feet have pretty red glittery toe nails! Glad Holidays are here!
